Home Interior Decorating :: Feng Shui In The Bedroom Feng Shui In The Bedroom: Feng Shui Bedroom Decorating Fact Or Fancy? There are many books on feng shui in the bedroom. But if you take together all the information they contain, you will notice that there are a lot of major differences between them. What one book calls “perfect” and “a great way of channeling positive energies”, another can describe as “an awful solution that blocks completely the energy flow”. It doesn’t mean that those books are shams – feng shui bedroom decorating is, as a matter of fact, a kind of art, not science. There are not strict rules and even the most systematic approach to feng shui is little more than a thousand exceptions taken together.
Most feng shui schools tell us that the bed is the most important part of the bedroom. It should be bigger than you need – you can’t restrain your energy by sleeping in a tiny bed. Whatever you might think about feng shui, this piece of advice is a good one – a big bed means a comfortable sleep. Feng Shui lighting:The lighting should be soft. Feng shui generally disapproves of chandeliers, so all light sources in your bedroom should be placed on the walls or the bedside tables. Plants, fish, mirrors:Having live plants, fish or large mirrors in your bedroom is strongly discouraged. Feng shui bedroom decorating avoids the mirrors and living things other than people in a bedroom. Feng Shui colors:Feng shui bedroom colors depend on what you really want – red or pink will increase your “romantic luck” while soft greens or blues will enhance your relaxation abilities. Fascinating stuff, isn't it? Is it 'true' or not? All we can say is that the Asians have been using Feng Shui principles for thousands of years and swear by them. 2007 copyright :: http://online-home-shop.com :: Feng Shui IN The Bedroom
